PACIFIC BAY EATS

Pacific Bay Eats is a cloud kitchen with several concepts, each with a different menu and product catalog, under one virtual roof. Unlike the usual food delivery sites and apps, they offered many kitchens but just one checkout. They wanted a website with a younger and fresher look than their mother company, Pacific Bay, to create a strong online presence.

The Challenge

The challenge was to highlight the different concepts, courses, and cuisines coherently as a brand while also presenting distinct kitchens and products clearly to customers. Kitchen pages were designed to be impactful with large high quality product images and prominent product categories and subcategories. Special attention was given to the product page where upselling, product specific information, and heating instructions were a top priority.

The requirements included product add ons, ingredient and dish labels, zip code validation, various product preparation times, and a delivery slot picker. They also needed product review and customer loyalty apps installed in their store.

I did a few menu, header and color studies for them before settling on the final one.
