2022 Redesign
In the three years since their launch, Pacific Bay has grown exponentially to meet the increased demand for online grocery shopping. Their catalogue increased a hundred fold, the brands they carried went from a handful to dozens. To keep up with the expansion the redesign focused on highlighting the variety of categories and products in the catalogue.
The Challenge
The challenge for this redesign was to improve user experience and to enhance product discovery. A refined layout and copy for the product page to promote customer checkout. The menu was simplified for easy navigation, product filters were fine tuned and strategically placed, and featured collections display more product. Custom pages were designed for a more sophisticated and unique experience.
2019 Launch
Pacific Bay is an established of frozen seafood found in groceries around the Philippines. They were opening an e-commerce site for their house brand plus a few other brands of quality seafood and meats. Their boutique online grocery launched with 50 products and 4 brands. A clean, sleek home page, product filters and a blog of recipes
The Abandoned Cart automated emails of Pacific Bay allowed them to recuperate a portion of the large number of abandoned carts in the food industry.
